General contact
Email TexasAuthors@outlook.com. Please do not send passwords, government identification numbers, financial information, or other sensitive documents by ordinary email.
Correct an author record
Authors with an approved account should make routine updates through the Author Portal. For a record you cannot access, email TexasAuthors@outlook.com and include:
- The author’s name and the address of the directory page.
- The exact information that is incorrect.
- The corrected information and a reliable supporting source.
- Your name and relationship to the author.
We may ask for reasonable verification before changing a claimed profile, photograph, biography, book listing, or other protected information.
Claim or account problems
Use Create Account to locate and claim an existing profile or establish a new listing. If sign-in, approval, or profile access is not working, include the account email address and a description of what happened. Never include your password.
Removal and sensitive-information requests
The directory preserves Texas literary history, so public profiles are not automatically deleted when an account closes. Requests involving privacy, safety, copyright, impersonation, or sensitive personal information receive individual review. Clearly describe the concern and the specific material involved.
Response and review
Submitting a request does not guarantee a specific outcome. Corrections are evaluated for identity, authorization, accuracy, documentation, archival integrity, and applicable law. We will respond using the contact information provided when additional verification or explanation is needed.
